My client is a leading independent provider of cloud-based and on-premise IT solutions to businesses across the UK. These activities are complementary to their long-standing success as a managed print provider
They were established over 30years ago and have grown substantially in that time with over 160 people employed across 10 offices within the UK. Because of expansion an exciting opportunity has now arisen for IT Sales Executives to join the team.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is the ideal opportunity for highly motivated and driven IT professionals with new business sales experience to join our company during an exciting growth phase. You will have the ability to expand your career and your earnings potential as their remuneration plan is uncapped. You will also be able to earn commission from ongoing account revenues as well as capital equipment sales

THE ROLE

As an IT Sales Executive, you will be responsible for selling cloud and on-premise solutions, unified comms and security solutions. In most instances you will be generating new business opportunities in your own right but will also be called upon to support our existing account managers to expand their product offerings within their existing print client base.

Your duties will include:

• Developing new business through a variety of means (80% of the role)

• Managing the sales process through to completion

• Supporting our account managers in their existing accounts

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• To be considered for this role, you must have:

• B2B sales experience

• A proven track record of IT sales and support especially within the cloud environment

• A track record of new business success

• Proven ability to access and deal at “c” level within new business accounts

Additionally, as an IT Sales Executive, you must have an excellent work ethic, including strong initiative, enhanced communication skills, excellent time management and multi-tasking skills. The ability to establish and maintain meaningful relationships is also key, as is a good level of IT literacy.

 

THE WORK ENVIRONMENT

The team is based in Moorgate within a building that is located 2 minutes from the station. There are fantastic transport links to get you to and from work in a convenient manner. The office environment is simply fantastic. It is a WeWork building with about 500 individual companies and over 3,000 people employed within the 7 floors. The entire building is open plan with offices separated by glass panels. It is a very modern space that facilitates co-working and presents numerous opportunities for networking which is ideal for anyone in a sales job.
The building provides free events, food, drinks (including a beer tap on every floor) and entertainment that makes it an awesome and refreshing place to work. People are approachable and friendly and if you have not worked in such an environment before then you will be in for a pleasant surprise.

RENUMERATION PACKAGE

Base Salary: £30,000 – £60,000 (monthly threshold is relative on base salary)
Plus £6,000 car & travel allowance
OTE: £70,000 – £100,000 (Uncapped)

There are people within the business who are currently earning £150,000 – £250,000 based on their performance. This is a company with an excellent commission structure that is designed to allow people that work hard to achieve results to earn as much as they deserve.
